Hi there! I’m Joe. I’ve been a professional photographer for 30 years, which means I’ve shot just about every product under the sun and—more importantly—developed a pretty legendary collection of dad jokes along the way. (I’d tell you a photography joke, but it’s still developing.)
I’m a bit of a goofball who believes that a high-energy, positive set is the secret ingredient to a great image. I love collaborating in creative environments to bring a vision to life, whether I'm working with professional models or keeping things fun and relaxed for kids on set. While I’ve photographed almost everything, my specialty and passion lie in the "big stuff"—furniture, bedding, room groups, and architectural photography. There’s just something incredibly satisfying about capturing the perfect scale and style of a space.
The Adventure So Far
My journey started in Austin, Texas, where I went to school for photography. Since then, my career has been one big road trip; I’ve lived and worked in six different states, moving from one side of the country to the other. I truly love the adventure of learning a new city and seeing new places with every opportunity.
When I’m not behind the camera or scouting a new location, I’m usually enjoying my favorite simple luxuries:
A perfect cup of espresso and a flaky croissant to start the day.
A good glass of whiskey to toast a successful shoot.
